Elaine Owen Clinic
BY Jon W
20 October 2015
We are delighted to announce that we are running a monthly clinic in conjunction with the world-renowned physiotherapist
Elaine Owen MBE MSc SRP MCSP.
Elaine has spent her career in the NHS working with children with movement disorders by using a gait lab to optimise their orthotics. One of her many achievements has been to develop a comprehensive method of assessment, prescription and fine-tuning of lower limb orthotics. Her methods are now the gold standard for orthotic lower limb alignment and at LOC we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with her.
Elaine is joining the LOC team to lead a monthly clinic in our Gait Lab which will focus on fine-tuning both our orthotic prescription for lower limb conditions and the ongoing therapy programmes that are then implemented to enhance the effect of those orthotics.
